On 28 and 29 November 2023 in Strasbourg, France, everything will revolve around the dual use of land for food production and simultaneous solar power generation. The latest developments in agriphotovoltaics will be presented there.
Business models for farmers
The organiser of the Agrivoltaics Industry Forum Europe 2023, Conexio, has now finalised the programme. The conference will not only be about technology. On the first day, the references will also deal with the regulatory framework in different European countries and potential business models for farmers. In a subsequent parallel session, participants can decide whether they want to learn more about specific projects in different agricultural sectors.
Showing investment opportunities
On the second day, the speakers will focus, among other things, on models of how farmers can profit from agriphotovoltaics and how they themselves can participate in projects. They will show the possibilities for farmers to earn additional income from the dual use of land.
Agriphotovoltaics at your fingertips
On an additional excursion to an agriphotovoltaic plant on the second day before the conference, participants can get an idea of what such a solution might look like. The excursion goes to a plant about 20 kilometres north of Strasbourg in Brumath. There, Baywa r.e. has covered raspberry plants with solar modules to protect them from the weather.
