As the name suggests, the new Teraslate from 3S Solar is more powerful than the previous Megaslate. It can be used both as a replacement for roofing and as part of facades. 3S Solar achieves the higher output through a larger format, among other things. This means that fewer modules are required for the same surface area. This shortens the installation time and thus reduces the overall costs of the solar system. The module is available in four different standard sizes, which can also be combined with each other. The larger module area is also due to the use of larger solar cells.

With the new module, 3S Solar is switching from the M2 cell to the currently largest available solar cells in the G12 format. By using several busbars, the current per conductor is reduced, which helps to minimise losses. A rear-ventilated system also ensures continuous cooling of the modules in the roof and facade. (mfo)
