This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Advanced Building Skins conference. As in previous years, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) remains a key focus area. An increasing number of architects are exploring ways to activate the building envelope through photovoltaic integration. To support this development, there is a growing demand for information regarding the design, implementation, and practical realisation of such solutions.
Brief summary of the presentation content
These and other topics will be addressed by speakers at the upcoming Advanced Building Skins conference. Registration for presentations is now open. Interested planners, manufacturers, and other specialists from the BIPV sector are invited to submit their proposals for consideration. Each submission should include a presentation title and a summary comprising three to four key points. In addition, a synopsis of approximately 3,000 characters outlining the presentation content must be provided.
Submit your proposal by the end of February
Presentation proposals may be submitted via the Advanced Building Skins website until 28 February 2025. Further details regarding the submission of conference papers, including a template for abstracts, are also available on the website. The next edition of Advanced Building Skins will be held on 3 and 4 November 2025 at the Kursaal Congress Centre in Bern, Switzerland. (su)
