BIPV:

Up to 4.5 kilowatts of PV that are almost invisible

As a small system on the facade, 15 elements in the Rathscheck Schiefer system generate up to 750 watts of electricity. Enough to power small domestic consumers during the day. For the full supply of a normal single-family house, integrated installation on the roof is recommended in case of renovation or new construction. Just 30 square metres of solar panels, embedded almost invisibly in the slate roofing, can generate up to 4.5 kilowatts.

The slate system is suitable for almost all rectangular roof and facade shapes and can be installed particularly quickly and more cost-effectively thanks to the simple installation technique. In the case of renovation in combination with an energy improvement, building owners can also take advantage of various funding opportunities for owner-occupied properties. (mfo)
