The Webasto Pure charging station comes with a central LED display that indicates an active charging process with a flowing, gently pulsating colour transition. When purchasing, you can choose between a 4.5-metre and a 7-metre fixed cable with a type 2 plug. This offers EV drivers more flexibility when choosing a location for the charging station.
According to the manufacturer, another plus of the new Webasto Pure is the DC residual current protection integrated right out of the box. This eliminates the need to install a separate RCD type B circuit breaker, which saves cost and installation effort. Like its predecessor, the new Webasto Pure is available in two output variants: eleven and 22 kilowatts.

A new feature is that the installer has more amperage levels available when commissioning the wallbox in order to better adapt the charging current to the infrastructure already available on site. The universal key switch, which can be used to block the charging station for unauthorised users, as well as the simple installation (Plug & Play) remain unchanged. The new Webasto Pure charging station can also be accessed remotely via a ripple control receiver, which ensures grid stability. (mfo)
