As a tested type 1+2+3 combination arrester according to DIN EN 61643-11, Dehnventil M2 protects systems and terminal devices within a cable length of ten metres against partial lightning currents and surges. The compact arrester thus takes over lightning equipotential bonding, surge protection and terminal device protection in just one device. Connected terminal devices are relieved, which prevents damage and premature ageing.

With a width of only 0.8 inches, the arrester also saves space in the control cabinet. The small design creates new possibilities for utilising the available space. Side installation is also possible, which often makes it easier to comply with the 0.5 metre cable length.
