The new, compact Y distributors enable users to group together current paths in photovoltaic systems efficiently. In combination with string fuses or diodes, inputs of string combiner boxes (SCBs) and inverters can be assigned twice, thereby reducing investment and installation costs considerably.
The Y distributors from Phoenix Contact are suitable for nominal currents of up to 40 Ampere and voltages of up to 1,500 volts (UL: 1000 volts). The components are designed for protection class IP66/IP68 and can be used in a wide temperature range of minus 40 to plus 85 degree Celsius. The low-loss Sunclix contacts ensure long-term durability and system efficiency with quick and easy field installation.
