At The smarter E Europe, Raycap will present, among other things, a new component for protecting large photovoltaic systems and inverters. Visitors will also learn all about the further development of the proven PV box and a new solution for surge protection of small e-charging stations and wallboxes.
Reliable protection for PV systems of all sizes
At The smarter E Europe, Raycap will be showing its complete portfolio of solutions for protecting PV systems: from SPD base elements for direct installation on the PCB to multipole, pluggable surge protection devices for the top-hat rail and the patented Strikesorb technology. The focus is on two solutions: the new ProTec PV Box 7y and a compact solution for the 60-millimetre busbar for large PV systems.
The smarter E Europe 2023: Meet our experts
The new ready-to-connect ProTec PV Box 7y is a further development of the proven ProTec PV Box from Raycap. It impresses with its reliable surge protection in a compact design. Up to three strings can be connected to the ProTec PV Box 7y. The installation itself has also been simplified. Thanks to push-in connections and cable bushings or MC4 connectors, the strings can be installed without tools. With a housing in protection class IP 67, the PV boxes are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. A transparent cover makes the status display easy to read.
Raycap also presents a new surge protection solution for the 60 mm busbar for the reliable protection of larger energy generators such as PV power plants: the ProTec 60. The compact ProTec 60 is simply plugged onto the 60 mm busbar and connected via plug & play. The surge protection solution is not only suitable for PV power plants, but also protects all types of energy generators that are directly connected to the power grid from damage caused by surge events.
E-charging stations and wallboxes
This year Raycap presents the ProBloc EV T2 V, a further development of the ProTec T2C-EV. With its compact design and width of only 35 mm, the type 2+3 surge protection component is designed to fit in small AC charging stations or wallboxes in particular. A new feature of the ProBloc EV T2 V is, among other things, V-wiring for in-line installation.
