On the occasion of the Intersolar trade fair in Munich, Roman Brück, Head of Energy Storage and PV Components at TÜV Rheinland, presented Phoenix Contact with the certificate for the test specification according to PfG 2380/02.14 for their PV string fuse.
The partial components were tested according to IEC 62852 (plug connectors) and IEC 60269-6 (string fuses) and their safe disconnection was confirmed. Users can thus be sure that the photovoltaic system is reliably protected against residual currents at all times under the conditions described by the standards.
The robust fuse adapters of the Sunclix product family are equipped with Littelfuse fuse inserts for 3.5 to 30 amps and designed for voltages up to 1,500 volts. The easy-to-install protective elements are designed according to protection class IP68 and are particularly suitable for safe field cabling between the photovoltaic module and the inverter. (mfo)
