The rise of Gorillas has been impressive across Europe so far. The growing popularity of the Berlin-based startup inevitably leads to a growing number of orders, and these are becoming more and more extensive. To meet the growing demand, Gorillas was looking for an innovative and environmentally friendly addition to its current fleet of bikes. Dockr was able to convince Gorillas of its flexible and sustainable subscription models for cargo e-bikes and will actively support the Gorillas brand in its expansion.

Dockr's electric cargo bikes enable Gorillas' couriers to bundle and deliver multiple orders at the same time. In addition, Dockr supplies its cargo bikes with an all-round service and insurance package that enables rapid expansion without major upfront investment.
Reducing congestion for city centres
Gorillas is blazing a new trail in sustainable last-mile delivery. Dockr enables Gorillas to fit larger and more orders into their electric cargo bikes. Dockr's licence-free e-load bikes are available with a payload of up to 350 kg and a load volume of up to 1,700 litres - roughly equivalent to the maximum boot capacity of a mid-range estate car.

The cooperation between the two brands serves as a role model in terms of sustainable and emission-free delivery to counteract the increasing congestion in city centres and the associated environmental pollution. In addition, Gorillas will also be able to deliver in the future with the Dockr Cargo e-bikes to areas where environmentally harmful vehicles are prohibited or there are no dedicated loading zones.
