With a standard range of 150 kilometers and an actual range of around 100 kilometers, the Citroen C-Zero is less suitable for cross-country trips. But it fits almost into any city parking space with its compact dimensions.
Battery can be charged comparatively fast
The battery with 14.5 kWh can also be charged comparatively fast. At a normal Schuko socket the C-Zero is charged within six to eleven hours, at a 50 kW quick charging station with a Chademo plug within 30 minutes to 80 percent. The start and the end of the charging process can be programmed with a remote control and the charging status of the batteries can be read off.
Consumption of 12,5 kWh per 100 kilometers
The consumption of the Citroen C-Zero is relatively low with 12.5 kWh per 100 kilometers. The speed is quite sufficient with 130 kilometers per hour. For a short time the electric car has also an acoustic pedestrian warning. This way, the almost silent driving C-Zero can perceive this better
Sales price starting 19,800 Euro
The price of the city ripper starts at 19,800 euros. Minus purchase subsidy in countries like Germany. Contrary to competitors like Renault however Citroen announced for the C-Zero no stronger battery or range. (hcn)
