e-Mobility:

Now Ford also makes Wallbox available for commercial customers

For this purpose, the company is now entering into a partnership with Hamburg-based Eneco eMobility: Private customers who purchase a Ford Connected Wallbox for their battery-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E or for their Ford with plug-in hybrid drive can now have this charging station installed by Eneco eMobility in a straightforward and reliable manner. The customer can order the entire process at the dealership on site or online. The Ford Connected Wallbox can be monitored and controlled from the customer's smartphone using the FordPass app. For example, the current charging status of the vehicle can be checked via the app, wallbox access can be activated or deactivated and control can be transferred to other FordPass users. After Ford and Eneco eMobility have already worked together successfully in the Netherlands and Belgium, this cooperation is now also being continued in Germany.

A wallbox solution from Eneco eMobility that complies with calibration laws is now available for Ford business customers: the Alfen Eve Single Pro-Line facilitates, among other things, the legally required billing of electricity refuelling costs.

"Germany is a very important market for us in Europe," explains Joris Laponder, Chief Customer Officer at Eneco eMobility. "Our motto is 'e-mobility made e-asy'. E-mobility is just changing from a future topic to one of the big trends of today. That's why we are very pleased that we are now continuing the cooperation with Ford in the Netherlands and Belgium, which has been so fruitful so far, in Germany as well."

Stefan Wieber, Director Passenger Cars at Ford-Werke GmbH for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, adds: "We are pleased that we can now offer our customers a customised and uncomplicated installation solution in addition to the modern and intelligent Wallbox." (mfo)
