The new Ecarry small truck was specially developed for service companies operating in urban environments. Suitable areas of application are waste management, horticulture or last-mile delivery services.
The vehicle has approximately the dimensions of a conventional van and is easy to manoeuvre. It has an N1 road approval, weighs a maximum of 3.5 tonnes and reaches speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour.
Battery with 35 or 70 kilowatt hours
The standard version of the Ecarry is equipped with a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt battery from Webasto with 35 kilowatt hours. The premium version is powered by two batteries with a total capacity of 70 kilowatt hours. Depending on whether one or two batteries are installed, the municipal vehicle can travel up to 250 kilometres without being charged.
Intelligent control of the interior climate
Green-G also relies on Webasto technology for the interior air conditioning of the small truck. An electric high-voltage heater is used to heat the interior of the vehicle. It converts direct current into heat at almost zero loss.

An integrated air-conditioning system provides the necessary cooling for the interior of the Ecarry. Webasto's engineers have developed a special control strategy for this. The control unit regulates all HVAC devices (fan, blower, coolant pump and high-voltage devices) according to the operating mode currently required. (HS/mfo)
