The software provider chargecloud certified charging stations from EVBox, a manufacturer of flexible and scalable charging solutions, for the first time at the beginning of November 2021. This means that from now on, compatibility between EVBox's DC hardware products and chargecloud's backend is guaranteed. The certification enables smooth management, control and networking of the EVBox charging stations via the software of the start-up founded in 2016.
Start-up with many specialists
The internationally active start-up chargecloud has been an integral part of the e-mobility industry since 2016. The Cologne-based company offers cloud-based B2B software solutions to enable their partners to successfully operate charging infrastructure within one platform. All processes in e-mobility are taken into account: From pure monitoring, efficient customer management and flexible tariffing to fully automated invoicing and payment. Thanks to the open system developed by chargecloud, the company and the software operate independently of manufacturers and thus enable compatibility with more than 35 charging station manufacturers. EVBox passed the charge.certified programme in November 2021 and thus enables the flawless connection and networking of their DC charging stations to the chargecloud backend.
Collaboration creates more opportunities
In order to offer both charging station operators and end customers maximum flexibility, it is important to offer holistic solutions combining hardware and software. From now on, interested parties can choose one of the EVBox DC charging stations Ultroniq or Troniq Modular and use chargecloud's software solution at the same time. The certification of the EVBox products guarantees flawless and fully comprehensive operation with the chargecloud backend.

One of the characteristics that unites both companies: Modularity of products and services. In order to meet all requirements and to be considered part of e-mobility in the long term, it is of enormous importance to be able to constantly adapt to future developments within the industry.
