An integrated dynamic charging management system recognises when the solar system is producing more solar power than is currently needed for other consumers in the house. Zappi simply charges the surplus into the batteries of the electric or hybrid car. However, the wallbox also works without a solar system.

With a charging capacity of between 1.4 and 22 kilowatts, the device adapts to the needs of the car type and the household. At the same time, it also makes it possible to use small surplus outputs from the solar system. The user can set three different charging modes from Eco+ to Fast.
With just a few additional components, the EV charging station can be upgraded to an energy system for the household. The device then keeps an eye on all electrical consumers and uses the surplus solar energy for heating and hot water. (mfo)
