Compleo Charging Solutions AG and Wallbe GmbH will henceforth go their separate ways. The owners have agreed on this. The closing of the transaction as well as the merger of the operative business of Compleo and Wallbe are to take place before the end of April 2021. The merger of the companies is expected to create a large provider of charging solutions in Europe.
The Dortmund-based company Compleo will take over all shares of Wallbe. One third of the purchase price will be paid in Compleo shares, two thirds from the liquidity reserve.

Wallbe's two largest owners, Enercity AG (around 50 per cent) and Weidmüller Mobility Concepts (around 26 per cent) will become new shareholders in Compleo.
Timetable for reorganisation still unclear
Wallbe and Compleo will remain active on the market under their own names for the time being. In the course of the next period, the future structure of the new company as well as the associated timetable will be announced. The jobs in both companies will be retained.
Compleo has delivered more than 30,000 charge points across Europe so far. The company doubled its turnover last year to 30 million euros compared to 2019. Wallbe, based in Malmö, Sweden, has delivered around 15,000 charge points so far. (HS/mfo)
