Currently, anyone who wants to charge their electric vehicle in the EU either needs a specific charging card in many places or has to go through the cumbersome process of registering online with the respective provider. Feig wants to change that with the payment terminal. The user can pay at a charging station equipped with it using an NFC-enabled credit or debit card or Girocard, and the charging process can also be carried out using smartphone wallets.
Wirelane thus goes beyond the requirements of the German charging station ordinance. This only requires payment by credit card. However, contactless payment with debit cards and mobile methods are becoming increasingly popular.

The software installed by Feig ensures reliable data exchange so that the payment information is securely forwarded to the payment service provider.
The payment terminal also supports manufacturers such as Wirelane by enabling billing that complies with calibration regulations and is accurate to the point. Feig C-Vend provides the charging station operator with the data required for the digital payment receipt via data exchange. (mfo)
