The five-metre charging cable is equipped with a Type 2 plug. The Smartfox Pro energy management system controls the wallbox so that the user can charge with 100 per cent solar power. For this purpose, the Pro Charger has an automatically controlled internal switchover between single-phase and three-phase. The integration takes place via an RS485 interface.

Single-phase charging starts at 1.3 kilowatts of surplus power from the solar system. If the surplus power rises above 4.3 kilowatts, it automatically switches to three-phase charging. This increases self-consumption. In addition, the user can also charge with solar power on cloudy days when the minimum switch-on power for three-phase charging would not be reached.

With the Smartfox Pro, up to five Pro Chargers can be prioritised and dynamically controlled with solar power. The user can also select different charging modes. (mfo)
