With the new Chargebox, the associated battery system for outdoor use, the charging station can now also be installed at ground level. This minimises the installation effort. From now on, civil engineering work is no longer necessary. This increases the possible applications, because in many places civil engineering is not feasible.

The compact plug-and-play system saves on earthworks. The buffer can be installed up to 200 metres from the grid connection point and up to 100 metres from the charge dispensers and only requires about 1.5 square metres of floor space.

The system charges permanently from the available distribution grid, stores and boosts the charging power up to 320 kilowatts and enables ultra-fast charging. This option is already available in Germany. It is being prepared for other European countries and the United States. (mfo)
