As one of the few products on the market, the Fronius Wattpilot can switch between single-phase and three-phase charging. This means that the entire solar surplus of 1.38 up to 22 kilowatts can be used. Charging takes place in ampere steps, and single-phase or three-phase switching is fully automatic. In contrast to conventional solutions, this avoids short-term expensive load peaks.

The Wattpilot also has two different charging modes: the Eco mode and the Next Trip mode. Depending on the situation, the electric vehicle is charged either economically or specifically with the desired amount of electricity for the next planned trip. The Eco Mode is ideal for owners of solar power systems, as it combines solar surplus charging with the variable electricity tariff. With the Next Trip Mode, you charge the energy for a specific route into the car. This ensures that at least as much energy is charged as is needed for the coming trip. (mfo)
