The software update enables operators of a photovoltaic system to efficiently charge their electric vehicle with their own solar power. With the updated software, the compact Varta Pulse Neo can now interact with selected charging stations from the manufacturers Mennekes and Keba. Through communication between the energy storage unit and the charging station, the charging strategy can be adjusted as needed. All relevant storage information can be accessed and visualised via the Varta storage portal or the app.

The Pulse Neo is currently available in two power classes: with 3.3 or 6.5 kilowatt hours. The AC system can also be retrofitted with up to six additional home storage units without additional hardware. (mfo)
