The customer can now store excess energy from the photovoltaic system in the LG Chem RESU7H with 6.6 kWh usable capacity or LG Chem RESU10H with 9.3 kWh usable capacity. This works with both newly installed and existing systems, Fronius promisses.
According the company,the LG Chem RESU storage system can be retrofitted into the existing system at any time. An update will need to be installed in order to do this for systems with a software version lower than 1.9.1-x. The updates are described here.
The Fronius Symo Hybrid is an all-in-one product, combining the functions of a battery charging system, battery inverter, hybrid inverter, controller and with system monitoring. Alongside the Fronius Solar Battery, this product is now also compatible with the LG Chem RESU storage system.
The operational reliability is guaranteed by the Fronius Checkbox 500V. The Fronius Symo Hybrid’s integrated Multi Flow Technology gives the system ultimate flexibility, with various DC and AC energy flows possible in parallel and simultaneously. (nhp)
