Installation is simple: the charging box from Innogy is connected to an existing electric distribution board and fitted at the private parking space. In this way the car can always be charged while it is parked. The complete package comprising charging box plus installation by specialist electricians is available from 1,739.95 euros, the utility says.
An online configurator provides a convenient and quick overview of the system. Innogy also has a solution in its portfolio that is suitable for businesses planning to switch their fleet to electric vehicles: the smart charging box including installation service.
Fleet operators can thus offer their employees a convenient charging solution for their company car at their parking space at home. If required, innogy can log the electricity used for charging the company car at home separately. This is a precondition for the employer being able to calculate and reimburse actual consumption and associated costs. It is based on the individual electricity tariff of the employee. (nhp)
