The Amtron Compact by Mennekes comes with a permanently attached five meter long cable with type 2 plug and charges almost all new electric vehicles available in Europe. No authorisation is required. In order to work with the wide variety of vehicles and power grids, the Amtron Compact can handle charging capacities from 3.7 kilowatts (single-phase) to 11 kilowatts (three-phase). All status information is clearly readable at all times.
The temperature in the housing is constantly monitored to provide overheating protection. The wallbox has a particularly low power consumption while in standby mode (around one watt). An integrated DC residual current detector for personal protection as well as a load management for the home installation round off the protective features in a sensible way. The wallbox is easy to install: The power line can be inserted from above, below or from behind. The enclosed drilling template with integrated spirit level enables easy alignment and installation.
