Reev expands with market entry in France

The cloud-based Reev energy and charging platform is tailored to the requirements of companies, car park operators, hotels and the housing industry. It combines charging infrastructure management with an integrated energy management system. With over 7,000 customers, over 50,000 licences sold and a strong market position in the DACH region, Italy and Benelux, the Munich-based company is now driving forward the Europe-wide expansion of its platform.

France: A key market for sustainable mobility

France is investing heavily in the expansion of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, supported by public funding and ambitious regulatory targets. Nevertheless, many companies are faced with the challenge of efficiently scaling their operations, managing energy intelligently and navigating the complex technical and regulatory landscape.

With a locally based team led by Julien Deleau, Country Manager France, Reev is now entering the French market with a clear goal: to support companies and partners in implementing an economical, scalable and future-proof energy and charging infrastructure.

Reev's expansion into France not only opens up new opportunities for local partners such as installation companies, service providers and hardware suppliers, but also offers German companies new prospects for entering or expanding in the French market with a trusted, manufacturer-independent platform.

Promoting an energy-efficient infrastructure for electric vehicles

“France is one of the most strategically important markets for e-mobility in Europe,” says Eduard Schlutius, CEO of Reev. “With our expansion, we are making a decisive contribution to promoting sustainable mobility at the European level. Our platform goes beyond just charging electric cars: it integrates energy smartly across the entire charging ecosystem and helps companies and partners alike to reduce complexity and achieve sustainability goals faster.”

Expansion creates new opportunities for local partners

The French market offers enormous potential but also specific challenges, explains Julien Deleau, Country Manager France at Reev. “To move from a fragmented infrastructure to a holistic ecosystem for e-mobility, software solutions are needed that seamlessly combine energy and charging management – intuitively, scalably and in line with national requirements. Our solution makes semi-public charging structures accessible to a broad target group while offering partners the flexibility they need in the highly competitive French market.”

More than 250 charging models already integrated

Reev's platform is already successfully deployed in numerous industries. Over 25 hardware manufacturers and more than 250 charging models are integrated through open interfaces.

“Our goal is to help companies shape their own energy future,” adds Schlutius. “By simplifying the implementation and operation of smart charging infrastructure, we are helping to reduce emissions, promote electrification and strengthen local value creation.” Schlutius announced that Reev will be further expanding its team in France and its partner network in the coming months.
