With the help of the novel fire protection concept, propagation of the entire system can be reliably prevented in the event of a cell fire. The application rule for safety requirements for stationary battery storage systems with lithium-ions VDE-AR-E 2510-50 is fulfilled. The concept facilitates the usual coordination with property insurers and fire brigades and thus also protects against follow-up investments.

Intilion has already successfully introduced the indoor commercial storage unit Scalestac in German-speaking countries since June 2021. The flexible system for public utilities, municipalities, industrial companies, businesses and farmers can be scaled from 25 kVA to 400 kVA and is available with a capacity of 123 kWh up to 1 MWh. The charging and discharging power is selectable from 0.3C to 2C. With a height of two metres, the storage unit fits through any standard door and can also be installed in rooms with low ceilings. Whether peak shaving, increasing self-consumption or e-mobility - the system is suitable for any application and can be individually adapted to all customer requirements thanks to its modular design.

In addition to the Scalestac with the new fire protection option, Intilion will present its commercial and large-scale storage systems Scalebloc and Scalecube as well as - partly together with partners - the entire range of battery storage applications.
