Solnet Group is actively investing in the advancement of solar parks and has initiated the establishment of a new business segment called Utility-Scale PV, aimed at expanding its presence in offsite solar projects. Simo Hakkarainen has been appointed as the Head of Utility-Scale PV and a member of the management team to lead this strategic initiative. The role of the Head of Utility-Scale BA is to spearhead the implementation of groundbreaking offsite solar projects, first in Finland, but also to other market areas in Europe.

Simo Hakkarainen has a strong background in the international construction sector and project management. He has extensive experience in business development and sales enabling international business for more than 30 countries. Hakkarainen joins Solnet Group from Peikko Group, an international growth company where he served as a Business Director and held various positions for nearly a decade.
