The open letter published yesterday on the occasion of the United Nations Climate Change Conference happening in Dubai is a call for a unified global effort to achieve a shared renewable energy target, fostering global unity for an accelerated energy transition.

The initiators of the open letter call for a tripling of the renewable energy capacity, in the hope that this would help to achieve the “Paris Agreement’s objective to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees”.
