The commercialization of this portfolio of photovoltaic farms is being carried out based on long-term Purchase Power Agreements (PPA). The projects, located in various regions of Poland, will be commissioned in 2024. After construction, the farms will be serviced by Nomad Electric Services.. Baker McKenzie served as the legal advisor for R.Power, while DLA Piper advised the Polish Development Bank. This marks the third project finance loan agreement signed by R.Power this year.
Long-term financing partnership
“Partnership with a leading financial institution such as the Polish Development Bank will enable us to further rapidly develop our photovoltaic projects in Poland.” says Tomasz Sęk, co-founder and member of the R.Power Board. The current financing agreement is worth PLN 231 million (54 Mio €).

The cooperation between the Polish Development Bank and the R.Power Group is an example of strategic, long-term partnership in the renewable energy sector. In 2022, the Polish Development Bank already demonstrated its commitment to energy transformation and support for Polish initiatives in this area by backing one of the series of green bonds issued by R.Power.
