The project will be connected to the Italian electricity grid in summer 2025. A long-term contract has already been concluded with the Swiss company BKW AG for the sale of the electricity.

The plant in Montalto di Castro is one project in the company's development pipeline of around 2 GW in Italy. The IPP (Independent Power Producer) CCE Holding has a total portfolio of around 6 GW worldwide. (hcn)
