So far KACO has delivered inverters with a capacity of 123 megawatts (MW) out of a total installed capacity of 500 MW in Turkey. Most popular products on the Turkish market, are the Powador 60.0 TL3 and the new blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT, according to the company.
Increasing commitment to growing Turkish market
On the occasion of the visit of a high level Turkish trade delegation at the company headquarters in Neckarsulm KACO new energy has come to an agreement to increase its commitment to the growing solar market, company speaker Andreas Schlumberger reports. At the initiative of the PV Association GÜNDER (International Solar Energy Society Turkey Section), representatives from the Ministry for Renewable Energy, the Regulatory Authority, the field of science and media came to Germany.
New rooftop project at University of Istanbul
Nedret Ünlü, Country Manager for Turkey at KACO new energy stressed on the importance of advanced after-sales service and close customer contacts. One of his upcoming projects will be a 1 MW system on the roofs of the University of Istanbul.
Great opportunities for large solar park applications
The Turkish government is planning to install up to 1 GW of solar-electric power per year until 2023 – a target which could even be exceeded based on the current market dynamics according to KACO. “This will open up great opportunities for KACO new energy’s powerful central inverters, the blueplanet 1000 TL3 and blueplanet 2200 TL3, in large solar park applications. The boost in the Turkish solar power market has only just begun”, Schlumberger says. (HCN)
