100 start-up companies are invited to Astana. Travel costs will be covered, appplication deadline is October 1.

NEWENERGY aims to bring to together green start-up companies with international investors and experts. The event is held October 27 in Astana, Kazakhstan. 100 companies will be invited; application deadline is October 1.

NEWENERGY is the biggest pre-EXPO 2017 event that gathers early-stage companies, investors and experts in clean tech and renewable energy. It is organized with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will be held on October 27, 2016 in Astana. Its main objective is to get innovative international companies, venture funds and accelerators involved in developing “green economy”, renewable and alternative energy sources.

Newest trends in renewable energy and cleantech

Prior to the event expert panel will select TOP 100 early-stage companies to come to Astana (flights and accommodation covered). During NEWENERGY event world's Top 100 companies will present latest global trends in the field of alternative and renewable energy sources, climate and ecology, smart cities and sustainable infrastructure, rational and efficient use of water resources, new production technologies and methods.

Application deadline October 1

Experts’ panel and visitors will vote for the TOP 30 early-stage companies that will get the chance to present their companies at Astana EXPO 2017 next year. Application deadline is October 1. Participants from more than 35 countries from Asia, Europe and North America already applied. (HCN)
