The submission phase for The smarter E Award has begun. According to Solar Promotion, the organisers of the trade fair in Munich, manufacturers of solar components and storage systems, project planners, system operators and anyone else who has an innovative idea for the expansion of photovoltaics can enter the competition.
Prizes in four categories
The coveted prizes will again be awarded in four categories this year. For example, the organisers of The smarter E Europe will award prizes for outstanding projects for power and heat generation. In the category Smart Renewable Energy, the focus is on solutions for the intelligent use of green electricity on site. Further prizes are available for new and innovative photovoltaic products. This applies not only to modules or inverters, but also to all other components of a solar system, from mounting systems and power lines to solutions for system maintenance. In a fourth category there are also prizes for innovative storage solutions.
Interested parties can enter their solutions for the competition until 31 March 2020. Information on how to enter the competition and the requirements for participation can be found on the website of The smarter E Europe. (su/mfo)
