Following several tenders, IBC SOLAR has been delivering modules for larger PV installations up to 1 MW to EKZ for some time now. The German company also supports the energy supplier in the private customer segment. Sales and planning of the PV systems for self-consumption are handled by EKZ, the installation is completed by its partner companies. For the complete systems, IBC SOLAR delivers modules, mounting systems and other components from its own-brand range. “Quality is very important for our clients”, says Marcel Schürch, Director solar technology at EKZ. “The reliability of and continuous quality control by IBC SOLAR enables us to fulfil these expectations.”
High quality standards required
A central part of EKZ’s offering for its clients includes the complete acquisition of all work steps, from the planning to the commission of turnkey PV systems for self-consumption. The clients’ trust, that they can rely on one single contact person, requires an especially high quality standard from EKZ’s partners. This way, the Swiss energy provider can pass on attractive prices and guarantees to its end customers. IBC SOLAR can ensure these standards with the high quality of its own complete systems, Schürch says.
Strong partnership with long-term prospects
IBC SOLAR has developed an extensive service portfolio specifically aimed at local energy suppliers and assists them as a strategic partner with the development of their photovoltaic business area. Municipal utilities can select services from this portfolio based on their individual needs. This includes complete turnkey PV packages as well as support in sales, consulting, planning and implementation. (HCN)
