The certification was carried out on the basis of the standards EN ISO 9806:2017 (for the thermal part) and EN 61215 and EN IEC 61730 (photovoltaic part) by the independent testing institute KIWA. In the tests under standard test conditions, the PVT modules are among the most efficient on the market: they deliver almost 20 per cent electricity and an additional 60 per cent heat from solar radiation.
In the interests of the customer, the engineers focussed on practical conditions when developing the collector. If the system uses the collector as a heat collector, the module is usually operated with an inlet temperature of between minus ten and minus five degrees Celsius compared to the outside temperature. It is precisely in this range that the Multi-NRG Panel delivers outstanding thermal yields. In the summer months, the panel is also used by the system as an active cooling element. (nhp)
