CHP with water-cooled synchronous generator

In addition, long maintenance intervals further increase the economic use of the new modules. Low noise emissions and particularly compact dimensions enable trouble-free operation in energy centres of apartment buildings, hotels, clinics and retirement homes.

The integrated synchronous generator in both CHP units is water-cooled. This reduces the operating noise and the heat generated during operation of the generator is additionally fed into the heating system. Further sound insulation measures, such as quiet 4-cylinder motors and vibration-decoupled pipe connections, enable the modules to achieve low operating noise levels of less than 54 decibels. The Vitobloc 300 NG 15 and Vitobloc 300 NG 20, which are finished in the neutral colour Vitographit, come ready for connection and can therefore be installed quickly and easily. (mfo)
