How does sector coupling work? What regulations are needed to switch the energy system from gas, oil and coal to green electricity? These and other questions are at the centre of the Sectors4Energy conference.

Together with Lorenz Kommunikation, the editorial team of the trade journal our German-language sister publication Erneuerbare Energien is inviting experts and decision-makers from the energy sector to Cologne to exchange ideas on how sector coupling can succeed.
Rules and business models on the programme
In addition to the development of regulations for sector coupling, the event will also focus on business models for its implementation. Sector coupling is also a way of connecting more volatile generators such as photovoltaics and wind power to the grid and still maintaining a stable energy system.

The event is aimed at energy and financial service providers, insurers, researchers, manufacturers and lawyers as well as representatives from local authorities, project planners and project developers. If they are interested, they can present their solutions or practical examples to the plenum.
