This completely replaces the external unit of an air heat pump or the heat source from the ground in brine heat pumps. Instead of using boreholes or external air evaporators, the required heat is supplied silently via the collectors and at the same time the electricity required by the heat pump throughout the year is generated.

The advantages of the device are noiselessness, a smaller space requirement than pure photovoltaics and the triple energy harvest, as heat is generated in addition to electricity. With its Solink heat pump collector, Consolar wants to accelerate the energy transition in urban areas. To this end, collector arrays are offered ranging from small to large output ranges.
Energy efficient even with propane
Triple Solar, based in the Netherlands, has brought a PVT heat pump 3.5 specially developed for PVT applications to series production readiness. Thanks to the use of environmentally friendly propane, the system can be operated in an energy-efficient new build in a CO2-neutral manner.

Thanks to the possibility of higher output temperatures, the system can also be used with existing radiators and for hot water generation in a hybrid solution with a new or existing gas heating system to reduce gas consumption by around 60 to 80 per cent without risk by simply expanding the system. The system is offered with PVT collectors as a complete package. (mfo)
