As an advance on the Flir T840, the T860 is the first model to feature integrated Inspection Route software. This makes it ideal for performing inspections of critical equipment more efficiently. These include substation components, overhead and power lines, manufacturing systems, and all electrical and mechanical equipment in a facility. By performing a pre-planned inspection sequence with the camera, thermal imaging inspectors can more quickly review the target area and create their inspection reports more easily.
The T860 features an ergonomic housing, a bright LCD touch screen display that is easy to read even from a shallow angle as well as an integrated colour viewfinder for working in bright sunlight. The thermal imaging camera offers a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels. It delivers sharper images with 50 per cent less noise than previous models.
