The installation company Klaus Schleicher Energietechnik (KSE) has won the final vote - and thus the InnoInstall Award 2021. The prize, awarded for the first time, recognises the innovative energy concept that KSE has implemented in its new company headquarters.
At the heart of the concept is a multifunctional storage system from Tesvolt. This not only manages the charging of the electric vehicle fleet and optimises the consumption of the photovoltaic system on site, but also provides backup power in the event of a power failure.
An example for the commercial energy transition
Sven Huntemann and Christian Löffler had supported the project for Tesvolt. They presented the award to KSE personally on site. "In this project, I was convinced by the holistic approach with a sector coupling of heat, mobility and electricity. In addition, a multi-use mode of operation can generate several revenue streams that make the project more economical," explains Tesvolt CTO Simon Schandert.

The facilities at Klaus Schleicher's company in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda paints a clear picture of how easily the energy transition can also be implemented in businesses. It also saves the company money and offers better planning for operating costs in the future. A total of 230 kilowatts of solar power have been installed. The TS I HV 80 commercial storage tank provides 75 kilowatts of output and 76.8 kilowatt hours of energy, giving the company greater self-sufficiency. The company's solar self-consumption has been increased and peak loads can be shifted in a cost-saving manner. (mfo)
