WI Energy, the project developer from Trier, will present a special topic at this year's leading trade fair for the solar industry. For at the exhibition stand in Hall A4.618, the main focus will be on the dual use of space. In addition to the latest technological developments such as floating PV or solar car park roofing, the company will also provide detailed information on the various options for investing in solar systems.

Also, WI Energy will also show the various cooperation possibilities for the successful implementation of larger photovoltaic projects. Here, the focus will be on commercial solar plants in particular.
Complete offer for investors
The company will thus show its complete offer for investors in photovoltaics - be it farmers, tradesmen or other owners of large roofs or open spaces. This is because WI Energy has developed into a full-service provider in recent years, initiating, acquiring, financing, planning, building, managing and maintaining projects.
Project pipeline built up
In the meantime, the company has built up a project pipeline with several gigawatts of output. This includes the solar car park roof currently being built in Rackwitz, Saxony. Once completed, the huge solar installation will cover a total of around 6,000 parking spaces and simultaneously generate electricity from 16 megawatts of solar power. WI Energy has also gained experience with the current forms of marketing solar power.

At the end of last year, for example, the company commissioned the solar park in Eltersdorf - a joint project with its partner Sybac On, which is refinanced via a power purchase agreement (PPA). Just under 60 per cent of the electricity generated is consumed directly on site. The rest flows into the distribution grid and is remunerated via the EEG. (su/mfo)
