The Dresden-based system provider Solarwatt is intensifying its cooperation with the planning and installation partner Enerix. Last year, the two companies already installed four-digit solar systems together. This year and in the years to come, the number of installations is to be increased significantly.

This is Solarwatt's response to the unbroken demand for photovoltaic systems. After all, Enerix is a large franchise company in the photovoltaic sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region). In Germany alone, Enerix is represented at over 100 locations. "The regionally based installation companies are managed independently by the respective business owners. However, our team from the franchise headquarters in Regensburg supports the individual companies in product purchasing, recruiting and marketing," Stefan Jakob, co-founder of Enerix Franchise, outlines the system.
Heat pumps in high demand
Meanwhile, nearly 1,500 employees work for the Enerix franchisees, who plan, sell and install photovoltaic systems on the roofs of single-family homes and businesses and put them into operation every day. Among them are many systems from Solarwatt. Both companies consistently focus on sector coupling.

"Our customers increasingly want to operate a heat pump with solar power or use it to fuel their electric vehicle," says Stefan Jakob from Enerix. "Solarwatt has a great deal of expertise in this area and offers the right solutions to enable our customers to efficiently link the worlds of solar, heat and e-mobility today."
Sustainably reducing CO2 emissions
For Felix Bräuer, head of sales at Solarwatt, sector coupling also plays a crucial role if Germany wants to sustainably reduce its CO2 emissions. "In a single-family house, CO2 emissions drop by up to 80 per cent if the e-car and a heat pump are also supplied with self-generated solar power. This shows the great leverage that sector coupling has for our climate goals," he emphasises. (su/mfo)
