Alfa Solvind: Installations for small and large customers

With strong interest in energy and recognizing the growing need for solar panels, Jonas Lundberg, a qualified engineer with many years of experience in the business, founded the company in 2012. Today, he is the CEO.

Alfa Solvind has 10 employees and steadily increasing sales. “We aim to help homeowners, farmers, businesses, and organizations produce their own electricity, whether they are investing in a new installation or expanding an existing one,” says Jonas Lundberg. “We take full responsibility for the installation, supporting our customers from the initial idea through to the solar panels being installed on the roof and connected to the power grid.”

Alfa Solvind caters to both large and small customers, with a primary focus on farmers and businesses, offering both solar panels and energy storage solutions. The company takes on jobs throughout Skåne in southern Sweden, aiming to be a local company close to its customers and able to provide direct support.

“We offer a wide range of products depending on customer preferences, including both European and Asian manufacturers,” says Lundberg.

Sweden: Less residential – more commercial PV installations

Alfa Solvind prioritizes choosing brands with strong support. “For inverters, we mainly use Huawei, Fronius, and Kostal. For panels, we primarily use Luxor and Longi. Mounting materials are from Schletter and Welandsstål. Our main supplier is EWS from Germany.”

“The biggest challenge at the moment is relatively low electricity prices in combination with higher than usual interest rates influencing the customer business case,” Lundberg concludes. (Carina Aspenberg)
