The housing dimensions and connection technology as well as the efficient topology of the predecessor have remained the same, but the output of the new inverter has been increased by 20 per cent. This results in economic advantages for the construction of commercial and industrial PV plants as well as ground-mounted solar parks: The plants can be designed with fewer inverters, which reduces the transport volume, and they can be installed, wired and connected more quickly.
Increased energy yield
The Blueplanet 60.0 TL3 has an overload capacity of 50 per cent on the DC side. This allows more solar modules to be connected to the inverters. The available space for the module field can thus be optimally utilized. Furthermore, power losses due to long cable runs can be compensated for by the overloading. The Blueplanet 60.0 TL3 is designed for high DC currents up to 190 amps. This makes it suitable for high-performance modules, whose larger cells and dimensions entail higher currents.
Equipped for safety and flexibility
Several variants of the inverter ensure maximum system safety: the XL version is equipped with DC surge protection type 1+2; the M version has pre-installed sockets which allow for the DC and AC surge arresters to be retrofitted and replaced on site at any time. The inverter has integrated section switches that are addressed by the Powador-protect control unit: This eliminates the need for external solutions for grid and plant protection. The use of customized DC combiners enables resource-optimized cabling. (mfo)
