The new Fronius Gen24 is an inverter with an integrated basic emergency power function, the so-called PV Point. In the event of an emergency, the device can supply a consumer such as a radio or mobile phone charger or even a small circuit of up to three kilowatts via a separate, fused socket, single-phase without additional components.

As a hybrid inverter, the Gen24 Plus, in combination with a battery, also enables the storage and consumption of self-generated solar power at night. Thanks to the additional emergency power option, the entire household and even large consumers continue to be reliably supplied with electricity in the event of a power failure. The inverter can be mounted suspended, horizontally or at a specific mounting angle, both indoors and outdoors.

The Gen24 can also be used as a hybrid inverter. It then has an optional backup emergency power option and can be connected to a battery storage system. This is made possible by a software upgrade from Fronius (UP-Storage). (mfo)
