Among other things, the company has been showing the MOD 3-10KTL3-XH battery-ready inverter at the Webuild trade fair in Austria. According to the manufacturer, the relatively compact and powerful inverter has an efficiency of up to 98.6 per cent as well as two MPPTs. The unit can be expanded into a solar energy storage system with the Growatt APX HV Battery high-voltage battery.
The new high-voltage battery storage system with lithium iron phosphate cells offers a storage capacity of five to 30 kilowatt hours. The battery voltage is 650 volts. Users can also expand the capacity at a later date by means of a soft-switch parallel circuit - and thus remain flexible in terms of electricity requirements in the future. (mfo)
