The new PIKO IQ (power classes from 4.2 to 10 kilowatts) from the Freiburg-based company Kostal Solar Electric will also be communicative (large number of communication interfaces, smart home-compatible), flexible (system configuration, shadow management) and practical (ergonomic installation). The inverter includes a solar smart communication board, too. A separate installation area also simplifies the commissioning and servicing of the PIKO IQ.
In addition to these string inverters, which are conceived more for the residential market, with the PIKO 36 EPC, Kostal will present a product especially designed for larger projects, too. The project inverter, with high European efficiency of more than 98 percent, the IP65 protective class and optional overvoltage protection for AC and DC, is especially designed for large projects up to three megawatts of power.
