With an appropriate transformer, the Protect PV series can be used to feed into the medium-voltage grid.

With the central inverters of the Protect PV series, AEG Power Solutions offers professional industrial solutions for use in solar installations on large roofs and open spaces.

The power electronics feature an innovative control and regulation technology that enables an input DC voltage of up to 1,000 volts. With an efficiency of 98.85 per cent according to EN 50530 (European standard), the Protect PV.880 exceeds the high expectations for devices in this power class. It can feed into the medium-voltage grid with an appropriate transformer. Communication within the components is based on Modbus and Can Bus, and between the containers via fibre optics and Ethernet.
