With this new micro-inverter, AP Systems is adapting to the trend towards ever larger module outputs. With two independent MPP trackers and encrypted Zigbee signals, the new DS3L and DS3 models feature a new architecture. They are also backwards compatible with the QS1 and YC600 micro-inverters.
A compact design has been chosen for the housing, combining die-cast aluminium on the front and robust polymer on the back. The components are encapsulated with silicone to reduce stress on the electronics, facilitate heat dissipation and improve waterproofing. Rigorous testing methods, including accelerated life testing, ensure the system's reliability. (mfo)
