Kostal’s Piko MP plus is a single-phase inverter. With performance ratings from 1.5 to 4.6 kilowatts, it can be used for solar arrays with as few as three modules and is therefore ideal for small systems. Its wide range of input voltages allows numerous interconnection options for the modules. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Furthermore, the Piko MP plus can soon be installed in an existing system as a storage device on the AC side. The software update to make this possible will be available shortly. Upgrading with the Kostal Smart Energy Metre enables it to be used as a storage solution without an additional inverter. (mfo)
